A perfect Elopement in Glacier National Park

02/10/2020 | By: Mountain Life Photography

The date was set :  October 15, 2019

The location Picked :  7 mile Pull Out Glacier National Park

The couple :  Kim and Brad

The weather :   PERFECTION

The love :  In the air

7 mile pull out is a spectacular location for an elopement.  It is nestled along the shores of Lake McDonald surrounded by the magestic peaks of Glacier National Park.   Love, laughter and excitement filled the air on this magnificent fall day.  Brad walked Kim's mother down the isle and Kim walked arm and arm with her nephew Anthony Penza.

Imagine saying I DO to the love of your life with the mountains of Glacier National Park reflecting on a perfectly still Lake McDonald with all the colors of the rainbow dotting the shoreline trees and rocks alongside your closest family and friends.  That's exactly what Kim and Brad did on October 15, 2020 in Glacier National Park.  Planning an October wedding is like putting it all on red in Vegas.  Fall in Montana can be 70 and sunny or 10 and blowing snow.  These two must have some amazing karma as they had possibly the most perfect fall day anyone could dream of for their elopement in Glacier!

Brad and Kim's relationship is the stuff that love stories are made of...  Laughter, Love, respect and a little more laughter.  That simple.  Those qualities are where amazing love stories come from and the kind of love that withstands the test of time.

After they said their vows and made it official,  the photography fun began!

The views were unstoppable on this amazing fall day!  We ventured on from Mile 7 to Lake McDonald Falls.  Kim had recently injured her ankle but she was a trouper and we hiked out onto the river rocks to create these spectacular images!

We ended the day at Apgar Village on Lake McDonald.  We had the entire place to ourselves.  It was magical.
