On August 9, 2025, Sha and Claire celebrated their wedding at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake in Whitefish, Montana. Their Whitefish wedding day was sunny and beautiful, with a lakeside ceremony followed by a reception just steps away. Guests enjoyed good food, plenty of toasts, and outdoor dancing on the lawn late into the night.

The ceremony took place lakeside at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, with the water and mountains creating a stunning backdrop. Family and friends gathered to watch Sha and Claire exchange vows on a perfect summer day in Montana.

Just steps away from the ceremony site, the reception was filled with laughter, good food, and lots of dancing. As the sun set, the sky lit up in brilliant colors over Whitefish Lake, creating the perfect setting for candid and fun wedding photos. Guests stayed on the lawn dancing under the stars late into the night.

Sha and Claire first met in high school, and during their first year of dating Claire went away to college. Every other weekend, Sha would finish his work shift, then drive 5–6 hours through the night just to spend time with her. Eventually, he decided it would be easier if he just transferred schools and move closer, a choice that set the stage for the life they’ve built together. That same dedication and fun energy was easy to see throughout their wedding day at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake.

Last summer, I had the chance to photograph Sha and Claire’s engagement session around Whitefish, Montana, including The Lodge at Whitefish Lake and other scenic mountain locations. We hit it off right away, and it was easy to see how fun and down-to-earth they are together. Their engagement photos captured their connection in the outdoors, while their wedding day brought that same joy and energy surrounded by friends and family.
