I am always cold. I prefer hot, humid and blazing high noon sun. However, I secretly love the changing of the seasons. I love how you can step outside one day and it smells like summer and then out of nowhere, the next day the crisp fall air suddenly appears! Fall is certainly here in Montana, it is actually almost gone! Snow has already fallen and temperatures hover around the low thirties at night. But with this change in temperature comes the brilliant arrival of the fall colors! I love photographing in the fall. One awesome part about being a photographer is getting to photograph a family year after year. This is year two for the Phillips family, Rachel, Kevin, Stella, Flower and Q-tip.
In 2017 I chose to shoot the Phillips family in my favorite field in Whitefish, Montana. This spot has it all! It has Whitefish Mountain Resort for the backdrop, displays Montana's classic 'BIG SKY' and presents the vibrant fall colors . This year we decided to do the photoshoot in Glacier National Park. I wanted this years shoot to look completely different then last years yet still showcase Montana's beauty. I think we nailed it!
Stella Blue 2017 Age 6
Stella is 7 years old and is on her way to being the next Lindsey Vonn! She has it all. She is smart, funny, athletic, kind, and not to mention BEAUTIFUL. She has sure grown since last year!
Stella Blue 2018 Age 7
Daddy/ Daughter and Mommy/Daughter are my favorites! There is nothing comparable to holding, hugging, kissing and cuddling your baby- no matter what age! And to be able to capture these moments is the most important part of my job- it is my passion!
I am already looking forward to next years shoot! How can I top these past two years.....I hear Hawaii is nice in the Fall and I do love to travel!
